Sewing Sampler Feet T-Shirt Romeo

A cold water soluble stabiliser useful for buttonholes and embroidery on knitwear.

Machine Embroidery on Knitwear with Romeo. Click here for a larger image.Use a layer of Romeo on the top and underneath. This prevents the embroidery stitches sinking into the knitting. Tear off the excess afterwards. The rest will disappear with the first wash.

If your knitting is fine or see through and you need a bit more permanent body to balance the weight of the embroidery, then iron on some fusible nylon on the back first. Use one layer of Romeo on the top only. Tear off the excess afterwards. The rest will disappear with the first wash.

Machine Buttonhole made with Romeo. Click here for a larger image. When making buttonhole with the sewing machine on knitwear use layer of Romeo as a stabiliser.
Cut a small piece and place either on top or underneath before making the buttonhole.
